Wow… just wow.
It’s hard to believe that 10 years ago today I married my best friend. I look back and see a couple SO in love yet so very young.
That we managed to find each other and more amazingly recognize that the love and bond we share isn’t something to pass by is something of a miracle to me.
Bryn and I met first when we were teenagers – he went to another school than me, but that didn’t stop us from hanging out. We were both kind of outcasts for one reason or another. I never cared to play the social climbing games the other kids engaged in and Bryn was just the same way. We spent countless hours talking on the phone, baking cookies at his parents house and driving aimlessly while we talked about life, the universe and everything. He was my best friend and I never thought about him that way… after all, what would I do if we broke up and I lost him forever? Bryn on the other hand maintains that while I had this going through my head, he always knew I was the woman for him. 
It wasn’t long after graduation that I realized I loved him. That I couldn’t bear the thought of us marrying other people and not being in each other’s lives any more. That all along, the person I wanted most in my life had always been there…
We were married quite young and while I know it was scary for our families to watch us make that commitment at that age, we both knew it was the right time. Our commitment to each other has gotten us through so many tough times and provided a joy I didn’t know was possible in my life.
Bryn is the echo of my heart. He’s the answer to my question. I’ve never laughed more or cried harder with any other person.
He holds me up when I’m weak and celebrates with me when I overcome my obstacles. He’s one of the most loving individuals I’ve ever had the privledge to know… and has a wicked sense of humor that matches my own.
I love you Bryn. If the past decade has been any indication, we’re in for a most amazing life together. I would marry you a thousand times over – you’ll always be the man for me. <3
